If you are getting on in your years and not quite a flexible as you once were, a Bass Boat is one of the most comfortable boats to fish from and ideal for fly
fishing. Carpet for your tired feet, a nice "Pro Seat " to lean on to help you sore back and bucket seats to sit in when you go places. The floor
plan is two large flat surfaces from which to fish - no oars, gas cans, batteries, paddles, anchors, ropes, etc. HOWEVER, the colors are just plain so very,
very wrong - Tri color Metal Flake with four tire trailers painted the same color with mag wheels???. Then of course comes my biggest beef and that is the size
of the engines they sell on these boats. In the Northeast there is not a place I can think of that requires 300 HP engines that ride on the skeg of the engine
at up to 100 MPH. If you say Lake Champlain - I say it's half New York & dosen't count. Lake Winnepesaukee has implemented a 50 MPH speed limit -
yeh! At full speed, I'll bet you couldn't turn the thing around in the average pond, lake, etc. in New England Then there is, I guess, a code that when
leaving you start your engine and bury the throttle and zip off to you next spot. RUDE. Finally for some reason you must be required to join a Bass Tournament
Club, wher you get your 29 buddies to have an outing on a 10 acre lake. Who knows what effect it has on the lake
For the record, my picture is of me is at Lake Winn......in a Lund Aluminum V-hull boat with seats (I only sat in fot the picture) and a trolling motor up front and a minimal 4 stroke engine. It is a delight to fish out of. I can spend an entire day in the boat and still be able to fish the next day. So be prepared, I may some day show up in common sense bass boat.
