This crappie was hiding under the dock in Prospect park. I caught him with a #10 BH white woolie bugger. i thought my 2 wt was going to snap, he was so heavy. i had to lip him to get him out of the water.

the lake is man made and our water is from the same source as the water the trout swim in, the catskills water shed. the fish are as safe to eat here as the
trout are upstate. I had to lip this fish , the 2 wt was near its limit when i tried to raise the crappie from the water.
