Fished a place called "Pumpkin Creek" because of all the noted healthy pumpkinseed population...When the Azalya are in bloom, the Pumpkinseeds here in Massachusetts are ready to go on the spawning bed; they are easy to locate, fat with eggs, mean and aggessive...I think they are the most hardest pulling of all the pan fish and most colorfull.... Well made a calling to Pumpkin creek and well over 50+ fish over 4 hours cooperated very well with the Goldie, Muddler Minnow and Olive Green Wooly buggers...many of the picture didn't come out well, so I wasn't able to post them

Yellow perch were also very fond of the Goldie and crushed it numerous times

Cast it by a stump and these 12" stump knockers would try to take the rod out of your hand...image
Goldie struck again...caught about 25 bass this size @ 1-1.5 pound...feisty, fun and full of fight

Pumpkin creek is full of logs and stumps...lost 9 goldies and several wooly buggers when fish pulled me into the underwater tangle of wood

Lots of structure = lots of fish
