Well the Goldie was nothing less than stellar today...fished a pond that I have driven by many times saying " I should fish that pond"...well today I
took a chance and "fished that pond" and introduced it to the Goldie...Boy was I rewarded with some healthy bass...The gills were small and
numerous...the stout bass more than made up for them. I was using my 4wt cause I thought the pan fish fishing would be good...wow... I was surprised &
rewarded with four 3+ pound bass that jump on the Goldie...this fly is unbelievable in production of fish...I was getting hits all of the pond, with many 6 -8
" bass eating the Goldie also
These bass were very aggressive..the were all identical in size and pulled like freight trains
Nice New England sunset after five hours on the water
Small pumkinseeds were hitting the Muddler minnow pretty hard
So were gills...this one was the biggest, most of the them were runts

2 Swans telling me to kiss their hind ends...they were not happy with me invading their sanctuary
