I have been looking at float tubes for a while know. Chefskeez is getting irritated with me, each time I post about them. But I just haven't pulled the trigger on one yet. But after seeing Trico and Mike during a fly swap recently, it changed my mind on how maneurvable they actually are, and how safe they actually look.

sooo... Does anyone have a reccomendation for a float tube under 200 bucks?

This is what I am looking for in a float tube.

• U shape (don't like the donut style)
• Under 200 dollars

• Sits HIGH in the water. I don't mind water splashing on my lap, but I don't want my lap completely submerged underwater. Basically if the water sits around my knees, I am fine with that.

Rightn now the models I have been looking at are the Caddis Pro 2000, and the Fishcat4. Does anyone else have any reccomendations? What type of Valves should I look for? What denier is durable? Is a stripping basket a must have on a float tube?

PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!! I can really use all the help I can get, and if things go my way... i should have one within the next pay period
