Hey Guys I wanted to thank several of you for introducing yourself at the show and spending some time out of an extremely busy day to talk with me about fishing!!! I thought you guys did a great job on the booth! The mounts of the bass and the bluegill were killer, and the slime dart

wasn't bad either. Gillbuster thanks so much for the diver fly, it's sitting proudly in the brim of my fishing hat, patiently waiting this ice out. I can tell the thing will be killer along the pad edges.

JeffSOD, thanks a million for the information about some great striper spots and bluefish area's. I really can't wait until I can get a line in the salt and reel in my first Striped bass.

You guys did great and I hope the rest of the day went smoothly!!

I totally agree....For all who attended the Bears Den Show, it was really great to see and visit with old fishing pals and meet new friends. What an outsanding fly fishing show put on by Scott Wessell from the Bears Den! Kudos to him and his team, this fly show is a class act and a great supporter the Bass Pond. Thanks again Alec, for another oustanding deplay of your classic Bass Flies and all your support. I can't tell you how many fishermen stop at our table and inquired about our Bass Pond group( I lost count)...there was a lot of interest, questions and surprize about our positive STS fishing philosophy...The show was jammed packed throughout the day and the Fly Swap flies were a big hit, lot of questions were asked... The show was great fun - a real hearty round of thanks to Gillbuster for all his hard work and devotion to both the fly swap and the show - great job John! You are the finest kind of representative for this dedicated bunch of Brothers of the Bass Pond! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Yes, John great job on setting up the display and all your hard work at the show Saturday! It was a fantastic afternoon of talking fly fishing and tying all around. I spent some time with Jack Gartside before I left and he is a really huge fan of float tube fishing and wants to join us for some tubing for pickerel if we go. He is a very talented tyer.

By the way did anyone check out the bass bugs the guy in the corner was making. I think his name was Joe Sullivan. His deer hair bass bugs were simply awesome! Real lookers.

Thanks for the kind words... Outstanding show and participation all around... Armand introduced me to Joe Sullivan (Heck, he knows and has fished with every noted fly fishing person in the industry) about his Deer Hair Flies, they were Absolutely awesome... He primarily tied those for Salt water, some of those would be great for Pickerel, Muskie, I love the coloration he had on them... and would love to spend some time tying deer hair with him, in fact, I would love to spend an afternoon with each of the expert tiers at the show, there is just a encyclopedia of knowledge to be had... Great looking flies and craftsmanship
