Hey guys - I don;t want to jump the gun tooo much here, but the June gathering is quickly approaching the "6 months from now" mark - the point at which campsites can be reserved if folks want to return to the site of last years gathering.
SATURDAY JUNE 13 is the second Saturday in June. If you want to return to the same spot, I would suggest actually getting reservations starting Friday the 12th. Let me know what you guys think. Happy Holidays! Alec

Absolutely, you betcha Alec...Fantastic camping spot...economical accommodations, great food, fine fishing..there are also several other bodies of water to explore and fish... we could fish the camping spot in the morning; after another great lunch, then maybe fish another spot after lunch...May take a couple of more days this year to enjoy more camping and fishing... Come on June

Thats great John - I would like to return as well. If we want to start the weekend on Friday June 12 than we can make reservations on Dec. 12th via reserveamerica.com. I intend to reserve the same site I had last year. and will get Fri., Sat. and Sun. night., if I can!

I wasn't able to make it last year but should be available that date this year. However, I'm blind as to the details of campground location, sites your reserved etc. Any guidance would be appreciated .

Got the info Alec, Thanks. I'll try to reserve the morning that they come available. It will likely just be me and my 4 man "hilton" so if one of the regulars need a place to crash, ( and can live with my snoreing) I'll likley have room.Just let me know.

BTW, looking at the website, it says that the sites we are interested in are RV/trailer sites? Are they suitable for tents as well or are they all rocky/uneaven? ( Mine is 9x15') No crazy restrictions that don't allow tents on the R/V sites/ tent platforms only I hope. MA state , and particularly this park, have a reputation for geztapo (sp?) like rules and enforcement. . I've eamiled the state parks department but no response yet.

Gang,
Made reservations to Site 29 at the "hush hush honey hole" for June 12 - June 15...Anyone needing a bunk to sleep in, I also have one available. Will be using the A-liner camper again this year, not fancy but it sleeps 2 comfortably. Coffee will be hot, food will be plentiful, fishing will be outstanding. Only 172 day to go but who counting, looking forward to this view as it is snowing a gale outside with about 10 inches on the ground

RG - I edited your post in order to keep our destination "quiet".

Any site along that pond will be fine, though you may find it difficult to get one at this date - we are all booked around 29-32, but all the sites are within easy and short walking distance. Hope to see you there! Alec
