I am moving to sacrameto and already bought a house and will be living there next week. Anyone willing to show me around the pond abit. I lived most of my
life one the west coast and salmon trout and steelhead are my choice but I have been trying with the warm water thing for the last 5 years here in maryland and
want to keep trying.

Hi Russell;
Sorry we didn't get in another fishing session prior to your moving, I'll miss ya. I've been doing well in a local pond, no large bass but quite a few. I usually go out at least once a week in the evenings and catch 2 or 3 bass in 2 hours plus a ton of gills. Everything for me has been caught on topwater after 7pm. Good luck in the Sacramento area, I recall they have some drinking water impoundments with real big bass in them. Isn't that one of the places expected to produce the next world record largemouth?
