When it comes to Largemouth Bass - I like to fish July and Agust, late in the evening. Brings out the serious fighters.

It's a bug I tied using balsa wood. Instead of cork get a piece of balsa wood and do some whitling. Add slits on the sides add hackle like Gerbubble bug,
hackle with tail of marabou. I believ in light colors since I do night fishing for bass. The 2nd bug is Joe Brooks Moose mane bug. Fishing on top is f-u-n. AJ

Armand,
Great looking flies....I plan on using them at our June STS gathering. I have the flies you showed me how to tie in Woburn. Any chance you coming to join us any day on the 6-9 June weekend. Would love to have you, I can come get you and drop you off in you like... It would be a grand time for sure...and Alec's cowboy coffee is out of this world I understand. I have extra float tubes and such. Gillbuster |
