Armand thank you for sharing this information.
While I didn't know Jack that well I was fortunate to meet him last February at the Bears Den show and have learned a lot from his writings and caught a lot of fish with his unique fly designs. He was one of a kind and a very passionate fly fisherman and tyer. I recently sent him an email directing him to my report here on the bass pond of an outing Gilbuster and I had early in October where I caught a 4lb largemouth on a Sparrow fly he tied. He responded with great enthusiasm and that though he had been down the month of September he said he hoped to be back out on the water before long. Looks like he is eternally back on the water again now. Rest in peace Jack. |

I highly recommend everyone take a minute (or ten) and read thru the postings on Jacks website. If you didn't know Jack you will feel like you know him when you are done.
