Want to throw out an idea to see if there is any interest for a STS get together to do some old fashion Nighttime Deer Hair Bass Bugging during July???? I got
a taste of night time Top water Bass Bug-gin last Friday night and let me tell you...if you have never tried this type of fishing...your missing out on some
wild exciting Fly fishing adventure!!!! Fly-tackle, Max and myself fished from 10 pm until 1 am, & hooked into eight or so... mean, aggressive, explosive,
large mouth Bass last Friday Night during our camping weekend... two of the bass went easily over 4 lbs... We only fished a couple of hours,
in the pitch black, using only two senses (hearing and feel) but it was an absolute blast.....Bass are much more active during the night and are aggressively
searching for food...Toying with the idea of fishing a clean Cape Cod Kettle pond (Small Mouth and Large Mouth body of water) and fishing with a group for
safety reasons...Place, Time and date are open, but looking for something like 12 midnight -3 a.m or maybe 2 a.m. to sunrise and then go get some breakfast
(get some coffee in you for the ride home)...It would be a wild time and I am sure first time for some of the folks who always wanted to try this type of
exceptional fishing.... Just a concept...for new fishing opportunity ...
