Gillbuster and I headed back to the scene of last weekends smallie action armed with float tubes.


One of the first things we saw upon arrival were a very large set of deer tracks on the beach. Then out on the pond I noticed a group of ducks and upon
watching for a moment realized I just had my first Bufflehead siting of the season. These are artic ducks that migrate to the waters of SE MA to winter over
and are fun to watch as they act like the ducks at a carnival shooting range. Half will... ]]>

			<description><![CDATA[ Thanks Jeff, for another wonderful adventure at a jewel of a smallmouth pond... Fly fishing days like this don&#39;t come often...and when they do their
memories  are very special... The wild life, scenery, foliage and fiesty fish were fantastic.... Definitely had some healthy smallmouths kick my butt this
afterrnoon.... You were right... the Goldie rules this pond...can&#39;t wait to try it again... Great pics (my wife got a good laugh at the expression on my
face in that one picture) and nice post...Hope to see you on the water again maybe with a Orvis fullflex in hand.....

Couldn&#39;t get too close to get a good photo. Apparently they are a little camera shy <img src="http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/wink.gif" alt="image">.

The weather really could not have been nicer for the first week in November. It was a stellar day and as was said several times throughout the day it
