It looks like you guys had a great time, sorry I missed it. I've been out of touch with the Bass Pond thing for awhile or I probably would have made it my business to be there. The pond that I posted about in this thread was not too far from that location.

Wow, looks like I missed out on quite the feed. Nice work gentleman. Sorry I had to take off before lunch. And looks like the winds died off nicely later in the day too. I see you guys found the bait by the fallen tree. Anyway I am glad I made the trip and got to breifly meet everyone.

Excellent report and photos of another wonderful gathering of the STS guys. Thanks all for the enjoyable day.
Louis, Angelo, Paul, Mike and myself went on a two hour excursion of Red Brook. The water was low and not really fishable but a sweet looking spot. A better time to fish it may be early summer...or maybe we didn't catch the tide right. (someone who's fished it in the past can "chime in"). Wish I had taken a camera along but here's a link to the area:

The Bass Pond elite celebrated Sam Tisdale's home water location in grand style. Even thou the weather was less than favorable; these hardy warm water fly fishing group faced high northwest winds head on in the early part of the day, it made fishing difficult especially from the wad-able shore line... fishing was turned off by cold front that came thru this morning, catching fishing was sparse but some members caught schooling bass, yellow perch, pickerel and crappie. We made Sam Tisdale proud from the today's gathering ... WOW! great event, making new acquaintances and meeting old friends again, the food, fellowship, laughter and scenery were absolutely outstanding....Thanks to all for attending and contributing to a great & fun day of memories...The laughter was plentiful....

The wind was brisk and strong, it was hard to find any calm water for fly casting...
