			<description><![CDATA[ 1956 Bamboo and Bass... they were made for one another... that rod is 53 years young and did a nice job on that healthy fish, thanks for sharing a nice piece
of history also ...one of these days I am going to get a good bamboo rod and give it try... I am afraid I will get the addiction bug, like I did with Glass

one dry fly tip for H.C.H. line), fixed two-inch extension butt. Originally built by Paul H. Young for Lloyd Lawson of Dearborn, MI, automotive engineer who
during World War II designed a custom dual-engine Ford truck to haul military bomber aircraft parts to factories for final assembly. This largemouth bass was
my first fish on the rod, taken while wading a shoreline. Fly was a Dark Edson Tiger. Lots of little yellow perch, about the same size as the fly, were in the
area.
