I was at the office today at Delaney Wildlife Management Pond. Got 9 bass and 2 pickeral on spinning tackle, wind from north, south, west then east. 2:30 pm
wind died down - like glass. I had a dream Saturday Night about user friendly bugs. I am a long line caster and been killing myself with huge bugs. I thought
about Lefty's bug and Jason Lucas's bug dimension 3/4" long, width of a fountain pen 1/2" etc.

This place was a trout stream at one time then roughly 40 years ago it was dammed up for flood control. The tree were cut so it's just stumps some
submerged and some out of the water. DCR keeps the pond low for ducks. The boat ramp can't be used - not enough water. Lots of weeds, lily pads and stumps.
A person would have to be crazy to use a power engine on this pond. This is a canoe/kayak pond. I can't stress enough that you need heavy line and heavy
leader.

I was here this morning in pouring rain - I AM ON A MISSION. I did miss two large fish - maybe bass or maybe pickeral - how big, HUGE, had me shaking. I did
catch smaller bass maybe ten and four pickeral - nothing to write home about. No photos today.

How's the boat traffic on that water, Armand? Looks like the metal flake crowd would shy away due to the shallowness and weediness, and with bass that
size I'd guess it's not getting a ton of pressure, but one never can tell. If it's not heavily fished, I'd consider redacting the name of that
location from these posts as word gets out quickly!

I was at the office again, duty calls. I got a nice bass on yellow bug, then a pickeral ripped the hair leg on one side.

I got a big one (pickeral) see Pickeral forum.

Check out Delaney Wildlife Management Area (Pond) it has everything to drive a person crazy big bass, big pickeral and to test your weedless bugs. Bring
spinning gear when the wind picks up.

Armand, that is a one heck of a HOG!, WTG!!! what do you estimate it's weight? I think the price of the stock of your firm has gone way up after those
pictures... I agree with Alec, if your firm is hiring let me know... I'd work for minimum wage for a chance to catch a fish like that... Yellow must be the
color, I have been using Black/Red Taps deer hair bugs.

I have been fishing at night at Watson's/Turners with no luck...the bite has turned off after dark from 10 pm to 1 am... BTW, I have tried with some good
success a way to keep the deer hair bug from getting waterlogged. Soak them in Rain-X and let the dry... Deer Hair Bugs gurgle real good at night, so I can
keep a track of the sound in the darkness..tried different float-ant sprays and Kinks but only good and dry for 15-20 minutes...

Maybe I need to change firms and a different office

Thanks B52 for sharing, make sure you take your heart medication if you keep getting quality hogs...

52 that is a real beauty, a story well told, and some fine photos.

I'm familiar with Taps' bug which may be similar to what you used but would like to know more about Leftys' and Jason Lucas' bugs.
Right on.
