I have been looking at float tubes for a while know. Chefskeez is getting irritated with me, each time I post about them. But I just haven't pulled the
trigger on one yet. But after seeing Trico and Mike during a fly swap recently, it changed my mind on how maneurvable they actually are, and how safe they
actually look.

sooo... Does anyone have a reccomendation for a float tube under 200 bucks?
Don't forget to get some quality fins that fit! A $200 float tube with a pair of broken $25 fins is worthless. Ask me how I know

FWIW, another good choice is the ODC 420. It's like a cross between the fishcat 4 and Fat cat in size and features and is under $200 n several websites.
Also FWIW, I have a pair of fat cat tubes that i paid just over $200 for on separate occasions. There are always deals on Ebay.

Shakeyfly,
I have had 5 different float tubes... I recommend the Fish Cat float tubes... I haven't spent over $200.00 for the 2 I've had and I am on my 5th year
on my green one. Call Kittery Trading Post they have good deal on them...Dicks has them occasionally...really can cover a lot of water with them... There are
a lot of new models of tubes out there now... so shop carefully...good luck
