Gillbuster,
Hit the local river that we fished last year but the other end today. The stretch I fished today from kayak was the first time for me and it was quantity over
quality . Though I saw one pig of a LMB on a bed and did hook a real
nice pickerel along with a couple really fat yellow perch. I am going back as this is a nice stretch. Probably leave the 7wt at home and bring a lighter rod
next time though....

Great post Jeff, as always when we fish together in float tubes, we always have a remarkable day...this fishing adventure was no different. The Goldie was the
ONLY fly out of 7 flies I tried to produce. These fish hit like freight trains & were on steroids, no quantity, but extreme quality... I definitely felt
like I was fishing in Northern Maine or Canada. Thanks again Jeff, great time...until next time see you on the water.
Tightlines,

country. This was only my second time fishing here and the first in a float tube. The fish were all quality. I personally had a great day acheiving a warmwater
grand slam.

I started off the afternoon with what turned out to be the biggest fish of the day. Also was probably one of my top 5 best Largemouths I have ever taken on
the fly rod...
