Sorry for the pics, My camera is in the shop for repair, had to take these pictues with my wife's camera after I got home. Family wanted an old fashion
fish fry with our neighbors, so I took the ole wonderod and tried my luck at an old vintage pond in Wareham, MA. This is very close to Flax pond that Sam
Tisdale used to stock his LMB in 1850. The place has got some monster fish...my personal best 7 crappie 15", @ 2 + pounds each.

Wicked! Nice to hear they let the bass go... luckily for him it didn't fall to your fly or it might have been part of the fry. Looks like you've got
yourself a slam, by the way. I see white and yellow perch, bluegill, and calicoes on ice in the sink.

Alec can check me on this, but I don't think the present day Flax Pond is the same one that Tisdale stocked back in his time. Not sure if anyone really
knows which pond is the original, though there's some thought that it might be one tucked in behind a shopping plaza.

With fish like the ones you've shown and described, maybe we've got a new location for a future Tisdale outing?
