Since it was a big hit last year, put together another "2010 BassPond Calendar " (12 months,
Jan 2010 - Dec 2010) with 24 scenic pictures (2 per month) from The Bass Pond website over the past year. You should see some familiar faces and memorable
pictures from the BassPond. It costs $10.00 per calendar to print and offering them to all members for $12.50. The extra $2.50 for each calendar will be put in
the Bass Pond community contribution chest; this will aid in keeping the operational costs down for the The Bass Pond website. I will have many copies printed
and brought to the Bears Den show. If you would like to get a copy please PM me with your address. Send a check to me or make a contribution to the Bass Pond
Communiity Chest on the Main Page. Enjoy...

Mark your calendar for June's Sam Tisdale Fly Fishing/Camping/BBQ Gala, .... June 12, 2010 Bass Pond outing will be at Nickerson State Park, Brewster MA.
We have 4 fertile ponds to fly fish, 3 cold water ponds, (Fax, Cliff & Higgins pond) that are stock with trout (brook, rainbow & brown) spring and fall
and also has good population of Smallmouth Bass.. Also Little Cliff pond (warm-water) has Largemouth and healthy Bluegills. These ponds have a smorgabord of
fish, are easily wadable around most of their shorelines, and are accessible by float tube, canoe, kayaks, & small boats with electric motors. I would
bring Sinking Fly line and Sink tip as well as floating line...these ponds are clear...Additionally for this outing for salt water purist, we are accessible to
some great Cape Cod salt water striper fishing at night at nearby Orleans and Brewster beaches, so bring your salt water fly tackle..... Also, top...

Want to make a early suggestion to get some feedback for next June's Sam Tisdale outing. Since the June camping/fishing is been a big hit over the past
few years, I would like to point out Nickerson State Park in Brewster, MA for an outing...It has plenty of warm-water/cold-water fish possibilities, plus 4
fertile ponds, plenty of camp sites. There is ample wading areas for shore fishermen and canoe, kayaks are fine also The camping sites would be able to be
reserve after Jan 1 2010, much like Myles Standish. In addition there might even be some night time salt water striper fishing possibilities at some nearby
Cape Cod beaches or night fish for some big browns trout... Here is some attachments to look over

was turned off by cold front that came thru this morning, catching fishing was sparse but some members caught schooling bass, yellow perch, pickerel and
crappie. We made Sam Tisdale proud from the today's gathering ... WOW! great event, making new acquaintances and meeting old friends again, the food,
fellowship, laughter and scenery were absolutely outstanding....Thanks to all for attending and contributing to a great & fun day of memories...The

If you are getting on in your years and not quite a flexible as you once were, a Bass Boat is one of the most comfortable boats to fish from and ideal for fly
fishing. Carpet for your tired feet, a nice "Pro Seat " to lean on to help you sore back and bucket seats to sit in when you go places. The floor
plan is two large flat surfaces from which to fish - no oars, gas cans, batteries, paddles, anchors, ropes, etc. HOWEVER, the colors are just plain so very,
very wrong - Tri color Metal Flake with four tire trailers painted the same color with mag wheels???. Then of course comes my biggest beef and that is the size
of the engines they sell on these boats. In the Northeast there is not a place I can think of that requires 300 HP engines that ride on the skeg of the engine
at up to 100 MPH. If you say Lake Champlain - I say it's half New York & dosen't count. Lake Winnepesaukee has implemented a 50 MPH speed limit -
yeh! At full speed, I'll bet you...
